Hosting dashboards are full of answers. The problem is finding them.
You know the drill. A site feels slow, so you open logs in one tab, APM in another, the firewall dashboard in a third, and start piecing together what changed. By the time you have the answer, the Slack thread has moved on and you have lost half an hour to clicking.
We have been building something to fix that. Today we are sharing an early preview of Convesio MCP — a Model Context Protocol server that connects your Convesio hosting data directly to AI tools like Claude, so you can get answers by asking questions instead of digging through screens.

What MCP is, briefly
Model Context Protocol is an open standard for connecting AI assistants to the tools and data they need to actually help you. Instead of an AI that only knows what is in its training data, an MCP-connected assistant can pull from live systems, your hosting, your logs, your metrics and reason over the real thing.
The Convesio MCP is our implementation. It exposes hosting-level context to the AI tool you already use. You bring the assistant. We bring the data.
Bring your own AI
One of the clearest patterns we have seen over the last year is that everyone has their own favorite AI tool. Some teams live in Claude. Others are in ChatGPT, Cursor, or a custom internal assistant. Forcing everyone into a single vendor’s copilot is a losing game.
So we did not build one. We built an MCP that works with whatever tool you already use, Claude in the demo, but any MCP-compatible client works the same way. Plug it in, authorize your Convesio account, and your AI gets hosting-aware.
What you can do with Convesio MCP
Early preview covers the workflows we hear about most from operators and agencies running serious sites on Convesio:
Analyze logs instantly
Ask your AI to scan logs for errors, 404 spikes, or unusual patterns in a timeframe. No grep, no dashboard toggling, just ask and get the summary with the relevant lines pulled out.
Generate custom dashboards from real traffic
Describe the view you want (“show me last week’s traffic by country with cache hit rate overlaid”) and have it built from live data. Stop pinning dashboards you rarely look at. Build the one you need, when you need it.
Run APM traces and get performance insights
Point your AI at a slow endpoint and ask what is happening. It can pull trace data, surface the hotspots, and explain what changed, in seconds, in plain language.
Query firewall, cache, and infrastructure metrics
Ask about WAF blocks, cache hit ratios, origin response times, or any of the infrastructure metrics Convesio already surfaces. Your AI becomes a fluent interface over the whole stack.
Build reports on demand
Agencies and internal teams spend real time assembling client reports and internal status updates. With Convesio MCP, the report is a prompt away. “Build me last month’s performance summary for [site] with uptime, top errors, and traffic trend.” Done.
Who this is for
Convesio MCP is built for the people who already live inside hosting data:
- Agencies managing multiple client sites who need to answer questions fast and deliver reports without burning a half day on each one
- Operators running high-traffic commerce sites where “is something wrong?” needs to be answered in seconds, not an incident retro
- Internal teams who want hosting context available to every AI tool they use, not locked behind a dashboard login
If your day involves diagnosing issues, building reports, or explaining what happened on a site to someone who does not read logs, this is for you.
What is next
The early preview covers the core workflows above. On the roadmap:
- More tools and actions exposed through the MCP
- Broader coverage across the Convesio platform, not just hosting data, but performance, security, and commerce signals
- Deeper integrations with the AI tools customers are already building around
We are treating this as a live collaboration with early users. What you ask the MCP to do shapes what we build next.
