What’s New at Convesio: July & August

What's New at Convesio July & August

In this Article

Two months of shipping, and most of it lands in the same place: fewer surprises. Portable bank details, disputes you can handle without leaving the dashboard, payment errors written in plain English. Here’s what’s new.

ConvesioPay

Disputes, end to end, in your dashboard. See, respond to, and resolve disputes directly in ConvesioPay — no separate portal, no support ticket to get evidence submitted. Dispute lifecycle emails now include the dispute reason up front, so you know what you’re fighting before you open the case.

Your bank account, vaulted and portable. Update your payout bank account from the dashboard at any time. Details are tokenized in our own vault rather than held inside a single provider — so if your payment routing changes, your banking setup travels with you instead of being re-entered from scratch.

Saved cards keep working when routing changes. Stored customer cards now continue to process against new payment rails using the original network transaction ID. In practice: your subscription and repeat-purchase revenue doesn’t break when we optimize routing behind the scenes.

Plain-English payment errors. We stripped third-party processor language out of payment responses, dashboard timelines, and API messages — successful and failed alike. When a payment doesn’t go through, the reason you read is the actual reason, not a vendor’s internal error code.

OneClick is now yours to control. OneClick checkout can be switched on or off globally at the account level, or per connected integration — run it on one storefront and not another.

Payouts and balances show the full picture. The Balances → Payouts and Payout Details pages now include all completed payouts, and pending/available totals account for multiple payment providers in a single view.

Event IDs on webhooks. Payment Lifecycle and Payment Method Update webhooks now carry an X-ConvesioPay-Event-Id header on every request. If you build against our API, you can use it to deduplicate retries — or safely ingest notifications for more than one account at the same webhook URL.

Fraud & Risk Management settings. A new controls panel under Advanced Settings → Checkout Settings to tune your own risk posture.

Shopify — now on every plan. The rebuilt ConvesioPay Shopify app is no longer Plus-only; it works on any Shopify plan. Setup is hands-on by design — contact support and we’ll provision the app and send you an install link. Setup guide →

WooCommerce checkout (PeachPay plugin)

Some merchants hit real friction at checkout over the past few weeks, and we’ve spent that time hardening the plugin. If you were affected, this is what changed:
  • Duplicate orders and double charges on refresh, cancel, or retry are prevented via checkout-attempt tracking and replay protection.
  • Customers can retry after a declined attempt instead of hitting a dead-end “this checkout could not be safely resumed” message.
  • Wallet refunds are safer, 3DS challenges resolve correctly, and wallet sheets handle zero-shipping carts properly.
  • Card validation failures now show real, shopper-readable messaging.
Update the plugin to pick these up — and if you’re still seeing checkout issues, contact support and we’ll look at your site directly.

Accounts & login

  • Password reset improvements, plus fixes for sign-in in private browsing windows.

Hosting

  • SSH key support on Express.
  • Express Preload Cache — optionally smart-preload your site cache so first visitors get a warm page. Refreshes automatically when content changes. It’s off by default, and worth testing first if your content changes or expires frequently.
  • Faster large backup downloads.
  • PHP memory limit changes now trigger a Slack notification, giving you an audit trail.
  • ACH is now a valid stored payment method for your Convesio billing.

ConvesioConvert

  • UTM session data now maps to purchases from logged-out visitors — closing a real attribution gap.
  • Unique and total views in Popup Analytics.
  • Better popup responsiveness — anything under 768px is now treated as mobile.
  • WebP uploads in the media library.
  • Email quota clarity: real-time out-of-quota indicators, warning icons on affected automations, a progress bar for paused campaigns, and a warning before you save an oversized template instead of discovering it after send.
  • Accuracy fixes across Site Engagement metrics, attributed revenue, and campaign scheduling.

Partners

Coming soon: the new Partner Portal. We’re putting the finishing touches on a rebuilt portal for our agency and referral partners — invite partners, assign referral tags, and track your referred portfolio in one place, on desktop or phone. More on this shortly.
